Who We Are
We are Adoption Affiliates and we are also known as Connecting Hearts because that is what we do. Adoption Affiliates is a private, non-profit, child-placing agency licensed in the states of Texas and Oklahoma. We work with birth mothers from all states.

We were founded in 1987 to assist pregnant women who are not ready to parent and who will decide to fulfill their parenting responsibility by making an adoption plan for their baby. We care a great deal about the clients we work with. Through the years we have worked with many wonderful people, birth parents and adoptive parents, and have placed over 600 precious infants.

To fulfill this mission, we provide comprehensive services to birth parents, recruit and prepare adoptive parents for placement, supervise adoptive placements for six-months, and then serve as a liaison and resource for birth parents and adoptive parents in the future.

Type of children adopted through Adoption Affiliates
Most of the children we serve are newborns, of all ethnic backgrounds. Occasionally, a new parent may ask us to help her make an adoption plan for her toddler, although we rarely place children over two years old.
